Looking Quietly
Photography
I’ve always taken photos.
Not in a grand, gallery-minded way. More in a “what’s that bin doing in the light?” kind of way.
I like small moments. A crooked sign. An empty chair. A dog that seems to be thinking about taxes. These are the things I point a camera at.
You won’t find all sweeping landscapes here. Just little observations — the sort that whisper instead of shout.
Most are black and white. Not for any lofty reason. I’m colour-blind, and I like things that feel pared back. Honest, even if a little scruffy.
So this is where I’ll start posting my photo entries. No fuss, no captions unless they ask for one. Just images from walks, wanders, and half-daydreams.
Sometimes a picture will stand on its own. Sometimes it’ll bring a few words along. That’s fine too.
If you like the world slightly off-centre — welcome.
