The New Notebook Situation

I bought a new notebook because I’d filled the one I’d been using.

At first, the new one was fine. But after a few days of use, the pages started to fall out.

I took it back to the shop.

“This notebook is losing its pages,” I said.

The assistant looked. She sighed. Tapped away on her computer.

“Ah yes, this problem again.”

“Can I swap it?”

“You could, but I fear they’ll all be the same.”

“Eh? All of them?”

“It’s where they are made. All their products are just… okay.”

“Right—“

“Yep, they are made at a satis-factory.”
