The Nodding Off Epidemic

I woke this morning and promptly fell asleep.

Perhaps it was a dream, perhaps a nap in disguise—a sheep in nap’s clothing.

Once, I could blame work tasks and dull cheeses, Now, I nod off mid-sentence, and mid… anything.

I don’t always get quality naps. I try every day. I am happy to report that I solved the problem.

I fetched the step ladders in to the living room.

Mary said: what are you doing with those?

“Ah, they will help me solve a nap quality problem”

“Eh? How?”

“I’ll use the steps to reach the high-quality Z’s…”

Mary sighed.
