The Tale Of Two Blogs

I’ve been running two blogs. One to tell jokes and the other to tell longer jokes.
It turns out I’m not good at running with blogs. I have enough trouble running at all. So, I shouldn’t run with blogs. My pockets are not big enough.
I decided I’d stick to one. Also a bad idea. Sticking to a blog means it is awkward when I sit down. I nearly sat on it the other day.
“Oi! Mate, mind where you are parking your arse!”
“Sorry! I forgot you were there.”
“Well you shouldn’t have stuck me to you.”
So, I made sure I was using only one blog on the web, not stuck to me, or for running with.
You are reading it now. And I promise not to split it in two anymore. That would be remiss of me.
You’ll notice this is a ‘Double Drabble” meaning it is exactly 200 words. It has to be, otherwise it is not a Double Drabble.
Why a Double Drabble?
So I can write a few longer pieces but still with the exacting discipline a Drabble requires - it’s the only way to keep my writing from splitting into two blogs again.
